Google StreetView

Hello Beacon Users,

We are introducing a new feature that we are very excited to share with you.

Beacon now offers Google Street View™ to users when viewing the map. If the feature has been enabled on the beacon site,  you will see a new tool available on the toolbar (icon shown below).

After selecting the tool, you can then select a road on the map, and if Google StreetView is available, can view the image in a separate window. If imagery is not available a “restriction” icon will appear restriction.

Keep an eye out for more beacon sites to enable this feature in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy this new addition and find it useful when working in beacon.
